Meet Our Pets
|
Hello,
my name is Rocco Camillo. I am a two-year-old Pomeranian,
and I was adopted recently through a match program at the
local animal shelter. My new Mom and Dad love me so much
that they can't stop kissing me. My Mom cooks for me and
I like breakfast time the most. My Mom and Dad live in a
condo with a pool, and on hot summer days they get to go
for a swim. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed. So, Mom
found a way for me to have fun and to beat the heat too.
She set up a sprinkler in our front yard so I could run and
play until my heart's content. She laughed as I jumped in
the water, getting totally drenched as I put my mouth right
up to the sprinkler head and quenched my thirst at the same
time. Maybe I was just practicing my water sports in case
Midnight, my Labrador Retriever friend needs assistance someday. I
have four other Pomeranian friends to play with, so I am
never alone. I have the run of the house, and I get to sleep
in Mom and Dad's bed every night. My Mom thinks I am so special
that she named me after a very famous person, Tony Camillo.
My Mom and Tony create music to soothe my savage soul. She
also designs pet beds and works endlessly in helping other
dogs just like me so they can have a happy life too. I love
my new family. |
Hi, my name is Mr. Max, and I am a ten-year-old Pomeranian. The beginning of my life was tough because, I spent the first five months of it in a cage. My Mom knew that it was wrong to get a dog from a pet store, however, she tells me that it broke her heart to see me in the environment. Knowing that I lived in these conditions for so long, my Mom passed by the pet store week after week as she could see my situation becoming more desperate. She knew that my chances of finding a home were slim to none as I was growing up in this awful place and becoming very sick. My Mom could not take it any longer, and felt compelled to reach out and save me. She took me home and she said, "today is the first day of the rest of your life, and you will know nothing but love for all of your days."
Life is good. I love all my Pomeranian friends, the great food, and all the love and kisses that I receive everyday. But most of all, I love my Mommy and Daddy and I love being free.
Now that I am older, I have developed Cushions disease. I can no longer take long walks because of my arthritis, but I remember what my Mom said, "I will know nothing but love for the rest of my days." Well, to prove that she and Dad got me wheels, so I would not be left at home all alone. Now, I can tour the neighborhood along with my brothers and sister and life is still good.

Hello, my name is Cierra. I am an eleven-year-old Pomeranian, and I am the only girl in a family of five poms. It is a difficult job being the only girl, but Mom thinks I am special. My brothers need me and love me a lot. Sometimes, my brothers drive me crazy, and they expect me to do everything for them. I have to care for each and every one, grooming them and making sure they do not get into trouble. I do not like taking a bath or having my nails clipped, but I do like all the attention that I get when my Mom dresses me in cute doggie outfits. Sometimes, when I see a big dog walking in my neighborhood I get really frightened. I run to my Mom for protection and she makes me feel safe. Mom and Dad also worry about my brothers and me during severe storms, because we are all very small. Therefore, they went out and bought doggie lifejackets for all of us in order to keep us safe. Even though I have a bad back and bad leg, Mom and Dad make sure getting around is easy. Everyday, they carry me up and down the stairs. I know someday, when I am really old, and can no longer walk, they will be my legs. You see, that is what love is all about. God bless my Mommy and Daddy. |

Hello,
my name is Rocky, and I am a 5-1/2 -year-old Pomeranian. I
was born in Long Island, New York. My Mom and I do fundraisers
together for the Greater Nashua Humane Society. I love to socialize
with all the dogs at the walk-a-thons; you might say it is,
doggie heaven. She collects money to help all my brothers and
sisters at the shelters until they can find a good home too.
Recently, my Mom was interviewed by Tiffany Eddy of New Hampshire
Chronicle. It is not everyday that a dog gets the chance to
sit next to a celebrity. I am pretty good in judging the humans,
and she is terrific. My least favorite thing is when my Mom
cleans the house. The vacuum cleaner hurts my ears, but it
is not just the noise that spooks me. Even the mere sight of
a feather duster makes me run for the hills. My favorite thing
to do is meet and greet all the guests when Mom and Dad have
family and friends over. It is especially wonderful when Makayla,
their Granddaughter comes over, because she packs my favorite
chewy pacifier. Hey, she is only two years old, an easy target.
It doesn't get any better than that, yummy! |
 Hello,
my name is Kobe. I am a 6 years old blonde Pomeranian. I am
not the oldest nor the biggest compared to my brothers and
sister. However, I have the biggest attitude of them all. It
is a tough job being the Alpha dog, but I was born bossy. I
am not ready to give up my title. I think it all started a
long time ago when I was very little. I was not like other
dogs, you see, because it always seemed as if trouble should
have been my middle name. One day Michael, my Mommy’s Nephew, came over for a visit. He was very young at the time just like me, and the perfect height to play with. So play time got a little out of control, or at least that is what Mom tells me. I did not see anything wrong with hanging from his shirtsleeve as he was walking out the door. Thank God my Mom realizes that all dogs personalities are different, and that some of us just need a little more understanding. Well, I have no complaints, I guess I just woofed it out and now I have a full-time job. Yes, you guessed it, I am one of the doggie models for the SoundBites, music for pets CD’S, and my life is much calmer. Life is better when you love what you do for a living. |
